Timberlake Farms is one of the oldest alpaca farms in the Southeast, and the first one in Alabama. We bought our first alpaca in 1993. Our herd now numbers over 100 alpacas, both suri and huacaya.
Timberlake's owners, Peggy and Jerome Gamblin have helped to set up many other farms, by selling them their first alpacas, and by offering untiring, friendly, support, and help. We continue to offer a wide range of alpacas, from affordable start up packages to show Champions, to bred females, herdsires, pets.. A lot of choices and in every color.
We offer Champion Herdsires at stud, including Eight Time Champion Huacaya HHF Son Of A Gun, Three time Champion Special American Idol, who in addition to his Championships, won a first at AOBA Nationals, and Second at the Futurity.
Our Suri Herdsires include Peruvian Zulu, a Six Time Champion, True Black, Full Peruvian,Half Accoyo. (One of only a handful in existance). Major Mac, son of 7 time Suri Herdsire of the Year, Peruvian Macgyver. And Junior Herdsire Timberlake's Illusionist, Reserve Champion at 7 months old, and son of Peruvian Illusion.
We have suris in every color including black and gray.
