Your Southern Connection To All Things Alpaca

Alpaca Creek Farm

We were first introduced to Alpacas in 2001 while on vacation in Peru. Seeing them graze in the wild around Machu Picchu was amazing! I got to see them up close during one of the local tours and fell in love. The following year, we vacationed in Washington State and passed a large farm with hundreds of these wonderful creatures grazing in their pastures. In early 2003, I saw an ad on TV talking about alpacas as a business. After lots of Internet research and a few trips to local farms, we were hooked. We made our first purchase in March 2003. We now have 30 wonderful alpacas.

Our love for animals and the excellent investment opportunity made this an easy decision for us. Our goal is to maintain top quality bloodlines that produce excellent fiber. Alpaca care is a primary concern for us and we make sure our herd is in top health that includes lots of love and personal attention. Quality, not quantity, is our first focus.

Service AFTER the sale is important to me and I will do all I can to help you learn the business. I can help you select appropriate equipment that is needed, weekly routines that will work for you, trimming nails and weighing animals, what to look for in skirting fleece and entering shows and selecting appropriate herd sires for your next breeding season. You will be welcomed to visit my farm to learn nail trimming and basic handling/haltering of animals (learned from Marty McGee's class and my experience). You won't be on your own after the sale.

We are proud to represent bloodlines from these legendary national lines: PPPeruvian El Moustachio, Rocco, PPeruvian Victor, PPeruvian Vengador, Shere- Khan, PPPeruvian Dracula, Patagonia's Caballero Andante, Patagonia's Compadre, PPeruvian Timoteo, Timoteo Samson, PPPeruvian Augusto, MFI Peruvian Logan, Shackleton, Patagonia's Neruda, Danko, Supreme Hustler, Peruvian Hemingway, Snowmass Millenium, Peruvian Legacy, MFI Peruvian Lethal Weapon, 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, MFI Peruvian Navarone, Peruvian Dakotia, Peruvian Bueno, MFI Scimitars Saracen, MFI Scimitar, Peruvian Silvio, Peruvian Dom Timbo, MFI Peruvian Gathering Storm, MFI Peruvian Jericho, Peruvian Don Julio, STF Jetson, Black Peruvian Royal Forest, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn.
